Canada Goose

The story of the Canada Goose is one of a recovering species. In the middle of the last century over-hunting and habitat loss had caused people to fear that they had become extinct. In 1962, however, a small flock was found in Minnesota and, with man's help, was the source of a remarkable comeback. Today, Canada Goose populations have grown dramatically and it is presently the most common waterfowl species in North America.

It is Canada Goose, not Canadian Goose, but don't ask us why.
