The ornitholigists have identified several different kinds of bird that many birding experts now generally include in the yellowrump category. These include Audubon warbler, myrtle warbler, Mexican blackfronted warbler and Goldman's warbler. We are not certain, but we think that the two that we see most often here in The Sea Ranch are the Audubon and myrtle yellowrump warblers. In all honesty, we can't tell these two apart so we just stick to calling them all yellowrump warblers. Audubon or myrtle, Goldman or Mexican, they are all beautiful little fluffs of feather and down and we are delighteed that they choose to spend time with us each year.
