This is the original residence of famed architect Charles Moore, whose “Sea Ranch Condominiums” earned him the American Institute of Architect’s 25 Year Gold Medal Award in 1991. Architect students come from around the world to visit this award-winning architecture, when not rented. Charles Moore is considered by many as the father of postmodernism. Moore Condo #9 is situated on one of the most dramatic ocean bluff sites on the coast. The ocean is up front and right outside your windows. The floor plan and rustic wood interior captures the essence of The Sea Ranch architectural concept Mr. Moore helped create. Dramatic upstairs loft bed with bath plus downstairs Murphy bed with big ocean view and bath. Rustic and nautical canvass rollup window shades for privacy. Huge, interior wood beams and rough sawn wooden planks highlight the original Sea Ranch concept of living lightly on the land and using local materials for much of the construction. This home will accommodate up to four adults.
